I made a 7:00 am appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. I dropped my car off the night before so that it would be the first on the lot and ready for the technicians. In my reservation I stated “I plan to wait” for my car. I was waiting on the call to tell me it is ready but it didn’t come. I called at 9:30 and the service desk told me noon would be the earliest it would be finished. I said this is unacceptable as I was on my way to pick it up then. I called again after talking to the service desk and asked for the GM John Woodland. I believe Sean was the one that answered. Sean said John was on vacation. I asked Sean who was stepping in for John and he said no one. Sean said I could speak to him though. I ran through my issue with Sean and he began to argue, “why would I know about the service department?” “I don’t even work in there”. Sean said he would have someone call me back and I said I would prefer to talk to him so I don’t need to keep explaining the issue. Sean was very angry that he had to talk to me even though he was the one that answered for John Woodland and said he would talk to me about my issue. I waited for a call back and Bob the Service Manager called me and immediately from the start said “who do you think you are yelling at my employees”. He scolded me for a minute and told me that communication is a two way street and that I should have told them I needed the car for a specific time. In my reservation I selected the option “I plan to wait” there was no suggestion that I could tell them a time I want it ready. I assume what I selected was basically saying ASAP. I never yelled at anyone but I was firm and blunt in my conversation because I was frustrated with my situation. Bob told me that my car was being pulled into the bay right now and that they will let me know when it was ready. I was dropped off and sat in waiting area until my car was finished by 10:00. I went outside and my car was parked up close to the new vehicles not pulled into a parking spot. I looked at the door of my car and noticed it was dinged on the driver side and the paint had been chipped off. I did not want to make matters worse with Bob.

Pricey but professional

I had an appointment to get new tires. The service was quick and the staff was very polite during my visit. I also got a very good deal on the tires.

The staff was pleasant and courteous. My car was done the same day and I was happy about that. I think the labor costs are expensive. But overall had a good experience.

Service good

This is the second vehicle I've bought from Colonial. Six years and 127,000 miles later I was looking to replace it. I would not have worked with the previous salesperson that I did (who is no longer there) and was happy to meet and to buy through Luke Ealey! Luke's profile on the Colonial website says, "When you meet Luke, you will be greeted with a smile. He truly shows the love of his job and the Chevrolet product." That is very true, but it goes deeper. He is a regular, down-to-earth guy, that I couldn't recommend more. At my age, I likely won't need to buy a new vehicle again, but if I ever do, it will be through Luke. Thank you and God bless you, Luke.

He was also friendly in helping us deciding what to buy, financing and taking advantage of the rebate opportunities. John Woodland, the General Manager of the dealership was also very helpful in the process of completing the sale.

Everything was done quickly, but I'm confused with what was performed. I thought I was getting the annual multi point inspection service including lube jobs, etc but that doesn't show on my receipt. All it shows is oil change and state inspection, plus checking of cabin air filter.

Great communication throughout the process.

Car would not start when on Cape Cod. After AAA start, we drove directly to the Acton Chevrolet Dealership. The next day, the dealership called to say the electrical system was checked and we just needed a new battery. It was ready the next day to be picked up. We appreciated the quick turnaround.

I had my rear brake pads and rear rotors replaced. I also had 4 new tires put on my 2018 chevy Cruze. Thank you for the great service! Since the parts were going to come the next day for the brakes, I was given a car to use from the dealership. That's hugely appreciated so I could get to work and back while my car was in the shop! Very friendly and helpful staff

The service itself was excellent. There were a couple items amiss. One of my wheel center caps was missing on my summer set. Who ever did this was careless. Also my snowbrush was replaced with a different snowbrush thar I had never seen before.

Oil change took almost two hours

The very best

I was getting a faint buzzing sound from inside the dash audible when truck was turned off. Next morning it had gone away. Noise came back next day after running. Third day the battery was dead. Jump started, Michael Najdi A16 fit me in late afternoon. He ran tests, could not get noise to repeat. The dead battery must have reset/cleared whatever was causing the noise. I appreciate him fitting me in on short notice and running tests on battery, starter, alternator. The issue has not returned.

The price was rather high and you don't offer any kind of senior citizens discount.

I came for an appointment on the wrong day, my mistake. The service rep was amazing and professional and got me in while I waited.

The overall experience was fine. Everyone was pleasant and knowledgeable, particularly our sales rep. Joe. An unfortunate computer glitch delayed the process overnight but we completed the entire sale far quicker than our last purchase at Colonial, due to having the dealership with DMV access, on site. We look forward to enjoying our new Blazer, as we have had with all of our previous Chevys.

Service: very personable, professional, and thorough both in upfront information as well as addressing any concerns I had. Quality: above par! The work was done, clearly above my expectation and sooner than expected. Ambience: granted, this is not a huge dealer that provides Starbucks and snacks, perhaps that’s why the service and quality is excellent?! Both Monica and Trevor were upfront all of the way through this process and made me trust them implicitly with our car. Of note: this was a repair we did not expect and did not want to go through insurance. I paid this car off when I retired and intended to have it to give to my daughter. Both my wife and I decided to go forward with the Repair and Trevor allowed me to pick and choose what we wanted to do to ensure my daughter had a Quality safe vehicle, while leaving out any unnecessary, “back to New,“ options. To me this was remarkable and a wonderful experience that I will refer my colleagues, friends, and anyone I hear talking about how crazy it is to go to a car dealership for repair; colonial Chevrolet collision proves that a myth!

Loved the experience. i went in for my inspection and they could take my car right away. Then they mentioned there was a software update/recall to perform and I told them to go ahead. The entire process too an hour, and when I received the car it appeared at least that they had charged it for me while in the service. I had to reset my preferences afterward, but that was not that much trouble. The front desk was just fantastic.

They were fine, when they asked if there was any issues with my Colorado I said the only problem is the windshield wipers. They streaked from day one.

Dealer advised air cleaner and cabin air filter needed replacing which I rejected. At home I went to check the air filter and found the radiator wall support strut disconnected and the connecting bolt laying on the cowling. Additionally, the front, inside air cleaner bolt was striped.

When I went to dealer looking for a black z71 Colorado that I was told was in stock upon arrival the truck was located at another dealer after waiting three hours they told me it was no longer available I searched for days looking for a 26 z71 and they apparently couldn’t find one nearby so I bought the trail boss instead with most of the same options minus a sun roof and a few other things but I’m happy with what i ended up with . Great Staff and quick turnaround I’ll be there customer for life .

I went to get my truck fix. They never called me when it was ready. I went to pick it up. They broke something else! And no one told me. They can’t order the part it’s not made any more. Still waiting for them to fix what they broke.

Colonial was great. Friendly and helpful. Happy i made the move from mcmulkin to colonial. Mcmulkin, has some ethics problems and I no longer trust them. The General Motors Warranty is awful. I had a component fail that was under Warranty. The faulty seal caused gear oil to soak my entire brakes, deeming them unsafe to use. A fire hazard i was told. General motors paid for the small seal that was leaking, but I walked away with a $2000 bill because I had to have my brakes rebuilt because of it. GM did not stand by it product or Warranty. I felt shafted big time. If your vehicle comes with a warranty, take it, but don't buy anything extra. Just take what the factory wants to give you and no more. It's not worth it. I have nothing bad to say about colonial. Only GM itself and it's Warranty.

You quoted almost $350 to change a $35 air filter. When I said it was too much the service rep came back with almost $250. Still too much for a few minutes of work.

My vehicle is 13 years old and never expected anything to still be under warranty. My Service Advisor informed me that I have a PZEF Emissions Warranty from GM that is still in effect until April 2028 or 150k miles. He saved me a bundle! I trust Colonial Chevrolet with all my vehicles.

We had a very good experience buying our 2027 Bolt. Luke, our sales rep and resident EV geek was knowledgeable, informative and if he didn't know the answer to a question, he found out. He guided us through the process with friendliness and without pressure and really listened to the concerns we had. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that there was a miscommunication about transferring our registration (we couldn't, but we didn't find out until we were already driving the car with invalid plates!), and there was the inevitable "upselling" of extended warranties which we don't, as a habit, buy. Our ideal car buying experience would not include that ritual, but it seems like it's still part of the deal. I'll also say that the parts department was very helpful in locating charging adapters that we needed. We are hoping this is the beginning of a good - and long - relationship with Colonial Chevrolet.

I knew exactly what I wantedand how much I wanted to spend on a new car and he made it happen for me. My huaband and I really liked him foe the moment met. He did an amazing job representing both his dealership and his customer. He provided excellent customer service and even asked his wife and child to patiently. Wait, so he could finish with us.
